Description
Join Angelina for the this two hour virtual cooking class on designing meals to support you through the fall months for health and wellbeing. Incorporating fresh, whole ingredients these fall recipe will help you cultivate a feeling of being cozy, warm, and nourished this fall. Fall is a time to dive in for self-reflection, begin to build up immunity for the upcoming winter months, and start adding warming and nourishing foods. By incorporating fall foods, it is possible to help manage seasonal allergies, boost immunity against fall colds and flu, begin to feel like you’re ready to cozy up with a warm drink and time to relax.
Influenced by Ayurveda, the Indian system of medicine, and supported by spring vegetables and fruits, these accessible meals will show you how easy it is to eat clean and to eat seasonally without a ton of fancy kitchen gadgets, rare spices, or lots of know how. This class is perfect for those short on time or are cooking for one or two people.
Although this is online, it will be an interactive workshop where you will get to cook along with Angelina. An optional “prep” class will be offered at 3:15pm EST if you want tips on chopping and preparing ingredients. We will use spices and herbs you are familiar with and incorporate a few new foods to expand your culinary palette!
This class is designed to help those who don’t have time for cooking, have one or two in their household, or find making up a recipe difficult. We will talk about how to make ingredients support more than one meal to help prevent leftover fatigue and food waste as well as how to alter our diet to keep us healthy during the winter season.

Friday the week before the class, recipes with a list of ingredients as well as required cookware will be provided. The grocery list will include substitutions to accommodate diet restrictions. Although substitutions will be provided, some dishes may not come out the same. These meals are designed to feed one or two people. If you plan to cook for a bigger group, please adjust your shopping accordingly (if you plan for four, double the ingredients, etc).
We may be using ingredients you haven’t used much or are unfamiliar with. My hope is to expand your culinary capabilities to help you eat seasonally as best as possible and to feel more comfortable in the kitchen. I am including substitutes for many of the ingredients in case you are unable to find something or don’t care for a particular food, but I encourage you to follow along the best you can and then see how else you can use these new ingredients in your cooking.

If you are unable to attend the class and need to cancel after September 9, 2022, you will receive a link to the recording. Recording quality varies, and the recording will be available for two weeks after class date and only to those who miss the class.
