What does it mean to be healthy? How do we know which foods are truly good for us? What do we do when we feel stressed and tired with no options? The science of Ayurveda can help! Ayurveda is the “science of life or longevity,” or the “knowledge of you,” and is holistic way of living connecting each individual with their inner nature.
Finding wellbeing can be hard with lots of conflicting information out there about foods, exercise, etc. The magic of Ayurvedic practices allow each individual to discover the right path for them and to feel more connected, balanced, and vibrant. Gain deeper awareness connecting body and mind by tapping in to your inner wisdom!
In this workshop we will explore an introduction to Ayurveda including;
- a brief history
- the 5 elements
- the 3 doshas (biological humors) and their qualities
- daily practices to help with stress management, self-care, and better sleep
- how to choose nourishing foods for your constitution for improved digestion
