Nothing on this website, in consultations, classes, workshops, or any offering is meant to be presented as medical diagnosis, advice, or cure for any health concerns. If you feel unwell, please contact your medical provider.
YOGA AND WELLNESS WITH ANGELINA, LLC, doing business as Sage & Fettle Ayurveda (“SAGE & FETTLE”), know your privacy is important to you, and it is important to us too. This Privacy Policy and Terms of Conditions/Service (“Policy”) explains the types of information we collect through www.sageandfettle.com (the “Site”), how we will use it, and how we plan to protect such information once it is collected. Please review this Policy to make sure you understand how any personal information you provide us will be handled. We may change this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will let you know by posting the changed Privacy Policy on this page. In some cases, for example, if we make any significant changes, we may contact you directly about them, such as by sending you an email if we have your email address. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Site.
We are located in the United States. If you are a non U.S. user of the Site, your Personal Information may be processed in the country in which it was collected and in other countries, including the United States, where laws regarding processing of Personal Information may be less stringent than the laws in your country. By providing your data, you consent to such transfer. If you are a resident of the European Union (“EU”), United Kingdom, Liechtenstein, Norway, or Iceland, you may have additional rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”), and we direct you to the “EU Residents” section below.
In consideration of the services of SAGE & FETTLE, including, but not limited to its agents, owners, officers, volunteers, participants, employees, affiliates, and all other persons or entities acting in any capacity on its behalf, I HEREBY ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE TO IRREVOCABLY RELEASE AND WAIVE, INDEMNIFY, AND DISCHARGE SAGE & FETTLE OF ANY AND ALL PAST, PRESENT, OR FUTURE CLAIMS ON BEHALF OF MYSELF, MY CHILDREN, MY PARENTS, MY HEIRS, ASSIGNS, PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVES/AGENTS, AND ESTATE AS FOLLOWS:
Cancellations, Returns, Refunds
Each event may have it’s own cancellation/refund policy which will be provided with the description of the event. Cancellation and refund policies for each event will override the below policies.
REFUNDS
Unless otherwise indicated or expressly agreed upon in writing, any refund processed will be less a $5 fee.
AYURVEDA, PRIVATE, & CORPORATE YOGA
We have a 48-hour cancellation policy for all Ayurveda appointments and private yoga instruction for a refund. No refunds for corporate yoga classes. No refunds for any appointments canceled after 48 hours. Ayurveda appointments, private yoga instruction, and corporate yoga classes may be rescheduled with a minimum of 24hours. In-person appointments rescheduled after 24hours will have a $50 fee. Virtual/phone appointments may be rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment without a fee. Appointments needed to be rescheduled with less than 24 hours will be considered canceled with the appointment and all payments forfeited.
Ayurveda Consultations and Follow Ups must be cancelled or re-scheduled within 48 hours of the appointment, or the appointment will be forfeited along with any payments and a new appointment will need to be scheduled and paid for.
If you arrive more than 10 min after the start time of your scheduled session your appointment will be canceled and no refund will be issued. We understand extenuating circumstances may occur, and you are invited to explain the reason for delay or missing your appointment and supporting documentation may be requested. A refund is not guaranteed.
CLEANSES
A cleanse may be canceled or rescheduled with the same above policy based on the date the cleanse is set to begin. If you purchased the spice packets for your cleanse, there will be no refund for the spice packets if the cleanse appointment is canceled.

We understand extenuating circumstances may occur, and you are invited to explain the reason for delay or missing your appointment and supporting documentation may be requested. A refund is not guaranteed.
Cooking Classes, Cleanses, and Private Cooking Instruction
SAGE & FETTLE assumes no responsibility for injuries or illness suffered while attending an online cooking class at your home/residence or any other location of your choice, nor at an in-person cooking class. I agree to use caution when using a stove, hotplate, or other hot surface as well when working with hot foods, steam, and/or beverages to avoid burns. I assert I have technical skills to use knives and do not have any medical condition that will prevent me from using sharp objects, such as but not limited to knives, blender, etc, in a safe manner, and take full responsibility for any harm done to myself or others. If I have a food allergy, it is my responsibility to procure an adequate replacement to use during the class, or to inform SAGE & FETTLE one week prior to in-person class, and waive all claims related to illness from allergies or improperly prepared foods that may cause food poisoning or other illness.
Certificate of Attendance
If you require a certificate of attendance for any offering, you must request it prior to or within 7 days of completion of any yoga or Ayurveda workshop, training, or whatever event you attend. After these seven days no certificates will be provided.
Yoga Services
SAGE & FETTLE assumes no responsibility for injuries or illness suffered while attending any Ayurveda Workshops, Yoga Classes or Workshops, or any other offering whether live virtually, pre-recorded, or in person. I agree to use caution when participating in any offering from SAGE& FETTLE. I assert I have the skills necessary to participate in physical movement, workshops, or other offerings, in a safe manner, and take full responsibility for any harm done to myself or others. If I have an injury, to inform SAGE & FETTLE prior to class, and waive all claims related to further injury or exacerbation of existing injury.
- I ACKNOWLEDGE that I understand yoga includes physical movements, as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education, and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, THE RISK OF INJURY TO ME OR TO THIRD PARTIES, EVEN SERIOUS OR DISABLING, IS ALWAYS PRESENT AND CANNOT BE ENTIRELY ELIMINATED. If I experience any pain or discomfort, I will listen to my body, adjust the posture, and, if necessary, ask for support from the teacher or staff. I will continue to breathe smoothly. I ASSUME ALL RISKS (which may include, among other things, dehydration, heat exhaustion, and muscle strain or damage) AND UNDERSTAND IT IS MY RESPONSIBILITY TO KEEP MYSELF HYDRATED AND COMFORTABLE.
- I further acknowledge and agree that yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. I affirm that I alone am responsible to decide whether to practice yoga and have been cleared by my medical caregiver to do so. I HEREBY AGREE TO IRREVOCABLY RELEASE AND WAIVE ANY AND ALL CLAIMS THAT I HAVE NOW OR HEREAFTER MAY HAVE AGAINST SAGE & FETTLE.
- I expressly acknowledge, agree, and promise to accept and assume all of the risks existing in this activity. My participation in Yoga is purely voluntary, and I elect to participate in spite of the risks, known or unknown.
- I HEREBY VOLUNTARILY RELEASE, FOREVER DISCHARGE, AND AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS SAGE & FETTLE FROM ANY AND ALL CLAIMS, DEMANDS, OR CAUSES OF ACTION, which are in any way connected with my participation in yoga or my use of Sage & Fettle’s equipment or facilities, online yoga classes, offsite yoga classes at selected venues including any such claims which allege negligent acts or omissions of Sage & Fettle and including any claims related to COVID-19 or any other illness or disease.
- Should SAGE & FETTLE or anyone acting on its behalf be required to incur attorney’s fees and other costs to enforce this agreement, I AGREE TO INDEMNIFY AND HOLD SAGE & FETTLE HARMLESS FOR ALL SUCH FEES AND COSTS.
- I certify that I have adequate insurance to cover any injury or damage I may cause or suffer while participating, or else I agree to bear the costs of such injury or damage myself or other participants. I FURTHER CERTIFY THAT I HAVE NO MEDICAL OR PHYSICAL CONDITIONS WHICH COULD INTERFERE WITH MY SAFETY OR THE SAFETY OF OTHERS IN YOGA, OR ELSE I AM WILLING TO ASSUME—AND BEAR THE COSTS OF—ALL RISKS THAT MAY BE CREATED, DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, BY ANY SUCH CONDITION.
- I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that SAGE & FETTLE may, in its sole discretion, bar my participation in yoga, cooking classes, cleanses, or other activities or events, or require my removal from its facilities, classes, or events in order to prevent injury or inconvenience to myself and others.
- In the event that I file a lawsuit against SAGE & FETTLE, I agree to do so solely in the state of Virginia, and I further agree that the substantive law of that state shall apply in that action without regard to the conflict of law rules of that state.
- ONLINE YOGA: SAGE & FETTLE assumes no responsibility for injuries suffered while practicing these techniques at your home or any other location of your choice while attending an online yoga class, workshop, or personal experience. Please seek a qualified medical professional before attending online yoga classes and courses.
Photo Release
At times, portions of SAGE & FETTLE classes and events may be filmed, photographed, and/or recorded. By agreeing to these terms, you consent to the possible reproduction of your likeness and/or voice, as well as the likeness/voice of any person representing our products and/or services for, but not limited to, marketing and advertising, and you waive any claims in connection therewith including any claim to compensation of any kind.
Consultations and Cleanses
SAGE & FETTLE is not a licensed medical care provider and is not rendering personal medical advice or treatment, and has no expertise in advising on, diagnosing, examining, or treating medical conditions of any kind, or in determining the effect of yoga or Ayurveda on any medical condition. SAGE & FETTLE is not a licensed nutrition specialist, and as such, all food and diet related instruction, advice, or direction are suggestions only. I acknowledge and agree that when participating in any class or workshop, and/or when using any products or services, there may be the possibility of detoxification symptoms or physical injury, and I assume the risk and responsibility for any such results and have previously consulted with my medical care provider that participation in any SAGE & FETTLE offering is appropriate for me.
I agree that if any portion of this agreement is found to be void or unenforceable, the remaining portions shall remain in full force and effect. By agreeing to these terms, I acknowledge that if anyone is injured or property is damaged during my participation in yoga, including to my own home/residence or location where I choose to practice online yoga, I may be found by a court of law to have waived my right to maintain a lawsuit against SAGE & FETTLE on the basis of any claim from which I have released them herein. I have had sufficient opportunity to read this entire document. I release SAGE & FETTLE and it’s employees and contractors from any responsibility for any loss or damage to my personal property.

What information do we collect on the site?
How do we use your information?
We use the information collected automatically about Site visits, including the pages you view, information you search for, and the average time spent on the Site, in the aggregate to better understand our audience and increase the functionality and user-friendliness of the Site. Aggregate information is anonymous. We consider the personal information that we receive to be confidential. If you submit your email address or other personal information to us via the Site, we will use this information only to the extent necessary to respond to your request or to provide you with the information or newsletters requested by you.
Sharing with third parties
We generally do not share personal information collected through the Site. We may, however, share your personal information (i) with trusted third parties who provide services to us, (ii) as required by law and when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights or those of third parties, to protect your safety or the safety of others, to investigate fraud or other illegality, or to comply with a court order or other legal process, or (iii) in connection with a corporate change affecting us or our affiliates, including without limitation a merger, acquisition, sale of assets, or dissolution transaction or proceeding involving sale, transfer, divestiture, or disclosure of all or a portion of our business or assets. While we endeavor to protect the security and integrity of Personal Information in our care, due to the inherent nature of the Internet as an open global communications vehicle, we cannot guarantee that any information, during transmission through the Internet or while stored on our system or otherwise in our care, will be absolutely safe from intrusion by others, such as hackers.
Links to third-party web sites
Our Site may contain links, banners, widgets, or advertisements that lead to other websites, including personal blogs written or edited by members of our staff. We are not responsible for these other websites or the accuracy thereof, and so their privacy policies (not this Policy) will govern the collection and use of your information on them. We encourage you to read the privacy policies of those websites to understand how your information is treated there.
Information Collected From Other Websites and Do Not Track Policy
Through cookies we place on your browser or device, we may collect information about your online activity after you leave our Site. Just like any other usage information we collect, this information allows us to improve the Site and customize your online experience, and otherwise as described in this Privacy Policy. Your browser may offer you a “Do Not Track” option, which allows you to signal to operators of websites and web applications and services (including behavioral advertising services) that you do not wish such operators to track certain of your online activities over time and/or across different websites. Our Site does not support Do Not Track requests at this time, which means that we collect information about your online activity both while you are using the Site and after you leave our Site.
Changing Your Personal Information or Email Preferences; Deleting Your Personal Information

You may unsubscribe from newsletters and marketing emails at any time by using the unsubscribe instructions on a link at the bottom of such email, or by sending an e-mail to us at info@sageandfettle.com. Under California Civil Code Sections 1798.83-1798.84, California residents are entitled to ask us for a notice identifying the categories of Personal Information which we share with our affiliates and/or third parties for marketing purposes, and providing contact information for such affiliates and/or third parties. If you are a California resident and would like a copy of this notice, please submit a written request to: info@sageandfettle.com. You may request us to delete your Personal Information by sending an e-mail to us at info@sageandfettle.com, and we will use commercially reasonable efforts to honor your request, but please note that we may be required to keep such information and not delete it (or to keep this information for a certain time, in which case we will comply with your deletion request only after we have fulfilled such requirements). When we delete any information, it will be deleted from the active database, but may remain in our archives.
EU Residents
If you are a resident of the European Union (“EU”), United Kingdom, Lichtenstein, Norway, or Iceland, you may have additional rights under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (the “GDPR”) with respect to your Personal Data, as outlined below.
For this section, we use the terms “Personal Data” and “processing” as they are defined in the GDPR, but “Personal Data” generally means information that can be used to individually identify a person, and “processing” generally covers actions that can be performed in connection with data such as collection, use, storage and disclosure. Sage & Fettle will be the controller of your Personal Data processed in connection with the Site.
If there are any conflicts between this section and any other provision of this Privacy Policy, the policy or portion that is more protective of Personal Data shall control to the extent of such conflict. What Personal Data Do We Collect From You? We collect Personal Data about you when you provide such information directly to us, when third parties such as our business partners or service providers provide us with Personal Data about you, or when Personal Data about you is automatically collected in connection with your use of our Site.
Information we collect directly from you: We receive Personal Data directly from you when you provide us with such Personal Data directly on the Site or otherwise when you interact with us. You can provide your email address on our Site to receive news and updates from Sage & Fettle, and once you have received the welcome email through our third party campaign email provider, you have the option to complete your profile with more information such as your name, company and location, but note that providing such information is optional. You can unsubscribe from our emails at any time by clicking on the “unsubscribe” link in the email or by contacting us at info@sageandfettle.com.
Our lawful basis for processing the foregoing categories of data is our legitimate interest in interacting with you through our Site, providing you with updates about our business, news and events that may be of interest to you, and for us to understand who our email recipients are so that we can better personalize the content for our recipients’ interests.
We also collect names, addresses, or other types of personal information from our investors and business partners to help verify that they are authorized to access the pages of the Site dedicated to them, if any such pages exist.
Our lawful basis for processing the above categories of data is our legitimate interest in preventing fraud and keeping information secure for our investors and business partners.

Our legal basis for processing information we automatically collect from you is our legitimate interest in operating, improving, understanding and personalizing our Site, so that you have a useful experience visiting the Site.

How Long Do We Retain Your Personal Data? We retain Personal Data about you for as long as you remain a subscriber to our email marketing list. In some cases we retain Personal Data for longer, if doing so is necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes or collect fees owed, or is otherwise permitted or required by applicable law, rule or regulation. Afterwards, we retain some information in a depersonalized or aggregated form but not in a way that would identify you personally.

What Rights Do You Have Regarding Your Personal Data? You have certain rights with respect to your Personal Data, including those set forth below. Please note that in some circumstances, we may not be able to fully comply with your request, such as if it is frivolous or extremely impractical, if it jeopardizes the rights of others, or if it is not required by law, but in those circumstances, we will still respond to notify you of such a decision. In some cases, we may also need you to provide us with additional information, which may include Personal Data, if necessary to verify your identity and the nature of your request.
Access: You can request more information about the Personal Data we hold about you and request a copy of such Personal Data.
Rectification: If you believe that any Personal Data we are holding about you is incorrect or incomplete, you can request that we correct or supplement such data.
Erasure: You can request that we erase some or all of your Personal Data from our systems.
Withdrawal of Consent: If we are processing your Personal Data based on your consent (as indicated at the time of collection of such data), you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Please note, however, that if you exercise this right, you may have to then provide express consent on a case-by-case basis for the use or disclosure of certain of your Personal Data, if such use or disclosure is necessary to enable you to utilize some or all of our services.
Portability: You can ask for a copy of your Personal Data in a machine-readable format. You can also request that we transmit the data to another controller where technically feasible.
Objection: You can contact us to let us know that you object to the further use or disclosure of your Personal Data for certain purposes, such as for direct marketing purposes.
Restriction of Processing: You can ask us to restrict further processing of your Personal Data.
Right to File Complaint: You have the right to lodge a complaint about Sage & Fettle’s practices with respect to your Personal Data with the supervisory authority of your country or EU Member State.
Transfers of Personal Data: The Site is hosted and operated in the United States (“U.S.”) through Sage & Fettle and its service providers, and if you do not reside in the U.S., laws in the U.S. may differ from the laws where you reside. By using the Site, you acknowledge that any Personal Data about you, regardless of whether provided by you or obtained from a third party, is being provided to Sage & Fettle in the U.S. and will be hosted on U.S. servers, and you authorize Sage & Fettle to transfer, store and process your information to and in the U.S., and possibly other countries. You hereby consent to the transfer of your data to the U.S.

I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE I HAVE READ AND UNDERSTOOD THIS RELEASE AND WAIVER OF LIABILITY AND INDEMNITY AGREEMENT, AND I AGREE TO BE BOUND BY ITS TERMS. I am voluntarily participating in the services of SAGE & FETTLE including but not limited to practicing yoga techniques, meditation, breathing techniques, Ayurveda techniques, cooking skills, etc.
I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that SAGE& FETTLE may, in its sole discretion, bar minors’ participation in yoga or require minor’s removal from its facilities/classes in order to prevent injury or inconvenience to minor and other participants.
I FURTHER ACKNOWLEDGE AND AGREE that SAGE& FETTLE will add my email to their distribution list if I register for any offering, appointment, or service. I have the right to unsubscribe at any time.
